Day 23...

Well... It's the eve of my final day of the 24 day challenge. Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days, life happened. :) I have done really well following the cleanse. I really feel I have lost more inches than weight and am encourage I took the challenge to take my health to the next level.

Notes:

* It's bitter sweet ending the challenge. Look forward to challenging myself in the future.

* it's been very rewarding challenging my friends to become healthier and experiment with "healthy flavorful foods". ( www.heandsheeatclean.com has great recipes!)

Day15...

Encouraged today that I am surrounded by 5 people at work on the same challenge! It's nice to discuss things and bounce ideas off each other.

Notes:

* get outside and breathe in the fresh air! It's amazing.

* have an unsweetened glass of Starbucks refresh tea. It literally wakes up you mouth :)

* exercise and encourage others to do it with you!

Day 10... Woohoo!

Happy Dance... Happy Dance!!! What a great feeling completing the first 10 days. :) I even survived my sons birthday. It was not easy going out to eat with all those temptations but, I did it!

Notes:

* drink that glass of water before every meal. Make big difference.

* there are always healthy options when going out. Again, it's about choice.

* set goals and reach them!

Day 9...

What a beautiful day! I was full of energy and great-fullness! I love how I am feeling after being "detoxified". Can't believe tomorrow is my last day of cleanse!

Notes:

* remember to thank yourself for investing in your health and caring for the body God has given you. (It's a choice to be a better you!)

* really need to do Yoga this week!

* work on time management

Day 8...

Feeling back to normal and rounding up the last few days of my 10 day cleanse. Actually excited to go back to work tomorrow... Never take your health for granted! I'm doing well sticking to cleanse. Each day seems to get easier.

Notes:

* make sure your snacks and meal plan are planned out the night before. Makes things go a lot smoother!

* turkey burger (no bun of coarse) and spinach salad for dinner yum!

* drink lots of h2o

Day 7...

My pillow, blankets, and lifetime movies were my friends today. Definitely feeling better. Kept on track today with cleanse even though I didn't roll out of bed until 11 :)

Day 6...

Well, it is the flu! :( Not exactly what I expected in the middle of my challenge. Lots of fluids and rest is what my day consisted of. I did stick to the cleanse though :)

Notes:

* chicken noodle less soup (blended everything in food processor) was really good.
* glad I had a packet of rehydrate

Day 5...

Well... I thought I might have made it without getting the flu. :( not sure if I'm aching from the 5k today or flu. Going to bed early!

Notes:

* Had major accomplishment! The family had pizza and I totally had no problem not eating it. :)

Day 4...

Feeling really good today. Was nice to have break from fiber drink ( can be a little hard to get down when it gets thick) I recommend a straw and drink fast.

Notes:

* I know this sounds weird but, my sense of smell is super heightened.
* made cashew butter by throwing fresh cashews in my food processor and added some water. It was AMAZING!
* heading to bed have Bold in the Cold 5K tomorrow. Have my Slam in the fridge ready to go. :)

Day 3...

Everything seemed a little easier today. Weights gone down each day... That's awesome! You will have to wait to day 24 to find out starting and ending weight. :)

Notes:

*have more energy
* discovered shredded chicken mashed with half an avocado diced tomatoes and a little lemon juice is amazing!
* a hot bath was definitely in order

Day 2...

Day 2... I woke up with slight headache. I knew to expect this though. Can only image the toxins being flushed out. Doing well with energy and feeling satisfied through the day.

Things to note:

* not a fan of swallowing pills but, keeping in mind the benefits
*love meal replacement shake mixed with unsweetened almond milk
*sense of smell is way heightened.

Day 1... Let's get this party started!

Well, I survived day one. It went great! I had plenty of healthy snacks on hand and drank lots of water. Pretty sure I peed 20 times in 8 hours. :) I am excited to get on the scale tomorrow morning! I really wish I could have went for a run but it was raining too hard. :(


Purchased a pill container. I like this one because you can unscrew individual case and put in your purse. I also, purchased a shaker bottle so I could mix my replacement shake at work.

* the thing I think I'm most worried about is giving up my coffee. I love everything about it!*
